Nightmares Realm has a variety of battle styles to better fit any type of preference that the player might have. However dice is mandatory for the style that the player may choose.

Single - A one on one free for all battle.

Team - A team battle style free for all where up to five players of a team battle one another.

3 Way - A free for all battle style between three players combat one another.

4 Way - A free for all battle style between four players one another.

Handicap - A free for all battle style that pits players against opposing odds combat each other.
Type: 2 on 1, 3 on 2, 4 on 3 or 5 on 4.

Battle Royal - A free for all battle style where four to eight players combat each other.

Death - A free for all battle style where players combat each other in a battle to the death. +

Slave - A free for all battle style where the losing player character will become their IC slave for one(1) IRL week. +

Style must be agreed between all players involved +.

Board promotes business at Las Vegas summit | The Seminole ...

LAS VEGAS ? The Seminole Tribe?s Board of Directors recently traveled to the Reservation Economic Summit & American Indian Business Trade Fair (RES) in Las Vegas.

At the conference, the Board promoted their ongoing business operations, including a recent joint venture with Stiles Construction.

RES, which took place from Feb. 28-March 1, provided Indian Country with business information and training tailored specifically to Native entrepreneurs and Tribal organizations.

In addition, a two-day American Indian Business Trade Fair featured more than 400 exhibitors. The Trade Fair provided opportunities for American Indian suppliers to market their businesses, network and negotiate potential contracts with corporate and government buyers.

The Board utilized the Trade Fair to promote Seminole/Stiles Construction & Development.

Last year, the Board approved the partnership with the intention of expanding its operations in the construction industry.

With 61 years of experience in the field, Stiles offered the resources and contacts the Tribe needed to expand its business off Seminole reservations and increase its market share.

Based in Fort Lauderdale, Stiles Construction is a branch of Stiles Corp., which is recognized for developing more than 37 million square feet of projects throughout Florida, including office, industrial, retail, mixed-use and residential projects.

The company plays a major role in each part of a project from design to development to construction. Their past projects include the construction of the Dolphin Stadium?s $200-million expansion and the Trump International Hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach.

David Lowery, director of Public Projects for Stiles Construction, said the joint venture will allow Seminole/Stiles to secure federal set-aside contracting work.

The set-asides were created to help small and disadvantaged businesses compete in the marketplace and gain access to federal and private procurement markets, according to the U.S. Small Business Association?s website.

Director Juan Menendez said the venture will not compete with existing Tribal construction businesses.?

Instead, he said, Seminole/Stiles will utilize Tribal labor for its projects.

The joint venture was a clear choice for the Board; because the Tribe owns 51 percent of Seminole/Stiles and Stiles Construction incurs all liabilities, it can only turn a profit for the Seminole Tribe.

?This is just the beginning for the Tribe,? Lowery said. ?This venture will give them a bright future for years to come.?

President Tony Sanchez Jr. said the Board used RES to lay down the foundation for Seminole/Stiles and start networking in an effort to spread the word about the venture. The next step will be following up with those connections to secure future projects.

?We?re looking to do things beyond reservation boundaries,? President Sanchez said. ?I am very proud of the joint venture that we have. This administration has hit the ground running, and we?re going to keep burning the midnight oil.?

To further expand its operations outside of the gaming industry, President Sanchez said the Board will utilize the Tribe?s reputation to capitalize on other ventures as well.

?Every venture will have to be evaluated; every partnership will be looked at, but there?s nothing off limits,? President Sanchez said.

The Board has already expanded its citrus business to include shipments of its Seminole Pride Orange Juice to Santiago, Chile and hopes that will create other opportunities in Latin America. The Board has similar goals for its beef business, which currently ships to Korea, Japan and the European Union, as well as within the U.S. The Tribe has also pursued a wine partnership with Cuillo Wines, which supplies wines for Morton?s The Steakhouse and Lufthansa airlines.

A recent partnership with Mobile Mike ? a local radio personality with Clear Channel Communications Inc. ? is helping promote the Board?s endeavors through radio advertising, marketing and even vehicle wraps.

The ultimate goal of these partnerships, President Sanchez said, is for Seminole Tribe of Florida, Inc. to put money in Tribal members? pockets and to help the Board operate on its own two feet.

In the midst of growth and expansion, the Board also recognizes the need to be intentional in its decisions.

Big Cypress Board Rep. Joe Frank said the current economic climate calls for more efficiency. Therefore, the Board has made every effort to streamline operations while maintaining transparency; they hold frequent community meetings to keep Tribal members informed and involved every step of the way.

After all, ?that?s who we?re working for,? Rep. Frank said.

The Board hopes not only to have successful business operations but to also pave the way for future administrations, said Hollywood Board Rep. Chris Osceola.

?It?s a group effort, and we understand that,? Rep. Osceola said. ?We have to work together to get things done, and I think we?ve been successful doing that. Everyone is very motivated to make things happen collectively.?

Rep. Osceola added that RES 2012 raised the Board?s awareness of Indian Country businesses and gave them the chance to see how other businesses have achieved success. He noticed a growing trend among alternative energy and said it?s something the Board may consider pursuing.

With high hopes for the future, the Board will continue to seek out new opportunities to expand its business at home and abroad.

?This administration is more open to new ideas,? Rep. Frank said. ?The Board?s economic opportunities are a lot better than they have been in quite a while.?

>> i saw 38-year-old staff sergeant, and i don't think there are very many of those, and i probably prayed and prayed that my husband wasn't involved. and then, i received a phone call from the army saying that they would like to come out and talk to me. and i was relieved, because when you get a phone call , you know that your soldier is not deceased.

>> can you remember what they said?

>> they held my hand and they just said that perhaps, you know, they thought that he had left the base, and gone out and perhaps killed the afghan civilians, and that was really the only sentence, and i just started crying.

>> tell me what you believed.

>> i just -- it seemed to me like, i -- i just don't think he was involved.

>> you think this is all mistaken identity? do you think this is -- is he being made a fall guy for someone else?

>> i don't know.

>> 17 people were killed.

>> right. i don't know enough information. i -- this is not him. it's not him.

>> have you -- how do you get your head around that kind of news?

>> it's devastating to hear, and it's -- it hurts my heart. you know. very, very saddened

>> this is the guy you described as your best friend .

>> and he's being charged with first degree murder. in other words, premeditated. that he planned this.

>> it's very unbelievable. it just -- all i can think of is what happened. what led up to it? i don't -- we don't have all the -- i feel like i don't have all the information.

>> it was a big shock. because we weren't on the schedule to be deployed again, to be honest with you. he didn't want to miss out on any more of his kids' life. when he had joined he had wanted to go to afghanistan . going to afghanistan didn't worry him. it was more about being just away from the family, more time.

>> how did you two deal with it?

>> i was -- i was upset, you know. because i was hoping, i was planning my next phases with my family. and being able to share with him.

>> prior to being deployed to afghanistan , his fourth deployment overall, he would have been screened at the base here. right?

>> right.

>> he would have gone through a physical screening and mental screening.

>> right.

>> are you completely confident that he was absolutely okay to be deployed that fourth time?

>> yes. yep.

>> there were no issues?

>> no.

>> there have been some reports, kari, that during his deployment in iraq , there were two injuries. all right, he suffered what was called a brain injury . a traumatic brain injury . what can you tell me about that.

>> the only time i ever heard about any of those things was after he got back. he kept a lot of it from me.

>> he suffered a traumatic brain injury , you're his wife by that point, he's communicating with you on a regular basis, and you never heard about it?

>> no. nope, not until he came back and said that he, you know, had been blown up. he shielded me from a lot of what he went through. he's a very tough guy.

>> do you believe that your husband ever showed signs of ptsd prior to this deployment or during this deployment?

>> i don't know a lot about the symptoms of ptsd, so i wouldn't know -- he doesn't have nightmares, you know, things like that. no dreams.

>> trouble concentrating. erratic behavior shifts, anything like that?

>> no.

>> is there a question we should be asking ourselves about the stresses and strains that we put our military personnel under through this multiple deployments. what do you think about that?

>> i think what's missing is the human aspects. they are first and foremost human. they are trained to be warriors to protect our freedoms. and people don't see the human side.

>> your husband was trained to be a warrior.

>> proudly. and defend his country.

>> he may have seen some things during that time as a warrior that adversely affected him.

>> i would say that a lot of people that have been deployed to iraq and afghanistan have seen a lot of things that affected them. it can't not affect you.

>> you've spoken to him twice on the phone. did you say sweetheart, did you do this?

>> no. no.

>> i mean, as a spouse wouldn't you want to ask that question, quickly, honey, why are they saying these things about you?

>> not on the monitored phone call . so we couldn't discuss those details. he was -- seemed a bit confused. as to where he was and why he was there.

>> will there come a time when you get to see bob where you will look him straight in the eye and ask him?

>> probably.

>> probably.

>> probably.

>> not definitely --

>> i don't think i'll have to ask him is what i mean. i think he'll tell me what happened. from his point of view.

Santorum looks to Louisiana to revive campaign

Underdog Rick Santorum is fighting for a big win in Louisiana as rival Mitt Romney gets closer to locking in the Republican nod to take on President Barack Obama in November.

But even an expected knock-out performance in the southern state of Louisiana on Saturday will not help Santorum make much of a dent in Romney's commanding lead in all-important delegates.

Romney has now won 21 out of 33 nomination contests, while former Pennsylvania senator Santorum has notched up 10 wins -- largely with the help of evangelical Christians and the party's most conservative members.

Pressure is increasing for Republicans to rally behind Romney and end the bloody and divisive primary battle before it hurts the party's chances of defeating Obama and winning the White House.

The party found unity in raining criticism upon Obama on the second anniversary of his landmark health care reform Friday.

But that criticism was drowned out of the news cycle after Santorum told supporters "we might as well stay with what we have" if the best the Republican Party can do is nominate someone "who's just going to be a little different than the person in there."

Romney immediately pounced on the remark, saying he was "disappointed" Santorum would "rather have Barack Obama as president than a Republican."

"This election is more important than any one person," he added.

While Romney focused his campaign appearances on attacking so-called Obamacare as an "unfolding disaster for the American economy," his surrogates were deployed to pound Santorum.

"Senator Santorum is going off the rails," Ted Kanavas, a former state senator and chair of Romney's Wisconsin campaign, said in a statement.

Jim Roddey, a party county chair from Santorum's home state of Pennsylvania, disparaged the candidate's "arrogant remarks," calling them "the most inappropriate comments made by any Republican candidate for president in recent history."

Santorum shot back by insisting it was "preposterous" to say he would support Obama.

"I was simply making the point that there is a huge enthusiasm gap around Mitt Romney," Santorum said.

"Voters have to be excited enough to actually go vote, and my campaign's movement to restore freedom is exciting this nation. If this election is about Obama versus the Obama-Lite candidate, we'll have a tough time rallying this nation."

Such "outbursts" will only weaken the party in an election where turnout will be crucial, said conservative blogger John Hayward.

"It is absolutely unacceptable for the Number Two candidate to tell his supporters they might as well stay home if the other guy wins the nomination," he wrote on the Human Events news website.

Santorum had a 14-point lead over Romney in Louisiana in a survey released by Public Policy Polling, thanks in part to conservatives abandoning former House speaker Newt Gingrich.

But the victory could be one of Santorum's last as the race heads to states where Romney has the advantage.

The former Massachusetts governor was ahead by 13 points in a Rasmussen survey of voters in the midwestern state of Wisconsin, which heads to the polls on April 3 along with Maryland and the US capital Washington.

While Santorum is expected to carry his home state of Pennsylvania in the following contest on April 24, the victory will be overshadowed if Romney is able to sweep New York, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island, which also vote that day.

Santorum's campaign said earlier this week that it is looking ahead to May, when the southern states of North Carolina, West Virginia, Kentucky, Arkansas and Texas vote.

It has also vowed to take the fight all the way to the Republican convention in August if Romney is not able to win the 1,144 delegates needed to clinch the nomination.

But if enough of the party's "super delegates" throw their weight behind Romney, the race could be essentially over long before then.

Romney currently has an estimated 560 delegates, while Santorum has won 246, according to the website Real Clear Politics.

Gingrich, who has won two states, has 141 delegates, while Texas Representative Ron Paul, who has not won a single contest, has 66 thanks to the proportional distribution of some delegates.

Since many states award delegates at state conventions, the results of nominating events do not translate easily into an exact delegate count.

I think the LA Stage Talks series is a good idea, and I fully intend on attending at least one ("Why Are Theatre-Makers the Masters of Collaboration?" on May 14th) and will try to catch the livestreams of the others.? Conversations are good.? Thinking about what theatre can do, how that differs from other forms of art and entertainment, and how we might flex that power; these are worthwhile pursuits.? The LA Stage Alliance fulfills an important need for Los Angeles theatre, and it pleases me to see them proactively doing this sort of thing for?the community.

However, in reading the press release (quoted in its entirety below) I can't help but roll my eyes.? Name one other form of art or entertainment that indulges in this kind of navel-gazing.? LA STAGE Alliance has announced LA Stage Talks, a series of panel discussions moderated by LA STAGE Alliance CEO Terence McFarland, exploring various aspects of the creation of performing arts in the Southern California region. The premiere event will take place on Tuesday, March 27 from 10am - 1pm, at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City. All events are free, but space is limited. The first subject to be explored is What is the Intrinsic Impact of Live Theatre? Co-hosted by Center Theatre Group at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, noted arts researcher Alan Brown, project director Clayton Lord, and leaders of greater Los Angeles theatres will discuss Counting New Beans: Intrinsic Impact and the Value of Art, a new book that examines the ways theatre artists, administrators, patrons, and funders value and evaluate the art they make and consume.
